DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Reporting to the President, you will be instrumental in driving the development and performance of all manufacturing processes and activities. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership to our operations team and front-line leadership staff. You will establish and lead an Operational Excellence program and strategy aimed at enhancing efficiencies to achieve maximum profitability and growth, in alignment with our company’s vision and values.

Responsibilities:

Oversee manufacturing and purchasing departments to optimize operational performance.
Identify and target areas for operational improvement to enhance efficiency.
Drive the planning and execution of business objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals values.
Serve as a subject matter expert in process improvement, organization design, and management systems.
Build and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support for employee development and growth.
Lead strategic initiatives to enhance scalability, agility, and efficiency within operations. Evaluate, schedule, and adjust resources to meet business demands effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, manufacturing operations, engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior operational role within manufacturing or related industries.
Demonstrated success in driving business performance, process improvements, and operational excellence.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams.
Expertise in operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software applications.
