DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, manufacturing operations, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior operational role within manufacturing or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in driving business performance, process improvements, and operational excellence.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software applications.

Regional Sales Manager (East)

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned market. Acquires and directs a team of independent sales representatives and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and profitability in the assigned market.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to communicate technical specifications and benefits of our cutting-edge equipment.
- Evaluate, establish, train, and support new representatives in un-represented territories.
- Conduct proposal presentations and RFQ responses, fostering client relationships.
- Support and nurture existing high-performing representatives while assessing and improving underperforming ones.
- Travel as required to promote Tempeff products to representatives, engineers, contractors, and end-users. (Canada and the United States)
- Assist in the development and management of tools to enhance sales functions, including promotional items and software improvements.
- Track quote activity, follow up on quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Set pricing levels in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Provide feedback on field requirements to improve products and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop short- and long-term strategic directions.
- Contribute to budget planning.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field would be an asset.
- Proven track record in technical sales in a related industry with Mechanical or Electrical backgrounds, including: HVAC/Engineering/Controls/Design/ Sales
- Exceptional communication and presentation skill, able to convey technical information in clear and persuasive manner.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows throughout Canada and the United States.
- Based out of Winnipeg or the GTA preferred.

Engineering Technologist, R&D and After Sales
Tempeff Inc., a leading innovator in energy recovery ventilation solutions, is seeking a dynamic and driven Engineering Technologist to join our passionate team. As a key member of our Research & Development and After Sales department, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our product offerings through innovative design, meticulous testing, and continuous improvement, as well as provide field support to clients as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, manufacture, and testing of new products and enhancements to existing products, focusing on mechanical and electrical engineering aspects.
- Take charge of prototyping activities, ensuring thorough testing and validation designs.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including mechanical designs, electrical schematics, control logic, and Solidworks 3D models.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to contribute to patent applications and support the overall R&D strategy.
- Provide expert technical support to local representatives, installations contractors, and end-user, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Process warranty claims after-sales part orders promptly and accurately.
- Travel occasionally to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair field-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability.
- Monitor customer feedback and field-related issues to drive continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to contribute to patent applications and support the overall R&D strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Experience 0-5 years in HVAC industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Solidworks) for mechanical design and 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with building Excel macros, programing PLCs and working with IoT devices (Internet of Things)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude working with various hand tools and basic power tools.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to travel occasionally for field service and customer support throughout Cananda and the US.
- Customer service experience would be an asset.
